Puppet, Mask and Performing Object Videos Online

Welcome to PuppeteersUK's index of online videos of puppets, masks and performing objects. Below you will find links to websites containing videos viewable online, ranging from short reels and television segments to full-length performance documents. The main aim of this 'collection' is to provide an overview of the world of this exciting area for practitioners and enthusiasts, stimulate comparative dialogue and discussion about different traditions and innovations and provide inspiring material that might lead to new performances.

None of the videos listed require that you pay any sort of charge for viewing. Software required to view these videos can be downloaded, for the most part, for free. Some of the sites are intended for commercial purposes, but PuppeteersUK does not endorse any of the organisations involved and cannot be held responsible for the content of these sites in any way or form. Due to the ever-changing nature of the World Wide Web it is possible that some of the links are no longer active.

This list is curated by Dr Matthew Isaac Cohen (Department of Drama and Theatre, Royal Holloway, University of London) on behalf of PuppeteersUK. Suggestions for changes or additional videos available free of charge online can be sent to Matthew.Cohen@rhul.ac.uk
